Jennifer Askirama was born to Mr. Askirama T. Rumirgo and Mrs. Naomi Askirama.  She has  two brothers and  a sister; she was born in Maiduguri Borno state Nigeria. Her name Jennifer is Cornish from proto-Celtic that was adapted in to the English language in the 20th century and means’’ fair one”. She was named after Jennifer Lopez when she was brought home as a baby as her uncle said she is looked so beautiful like Jlo and that’s how she got the name Jennifer. In her words “I won’t say i had a happy or normal childhood as the first child because my mom and dads separatedwhen I was eight years old with my dad marrying a second wife that same year. I would say my mom is my role model because she is one of the most hardworking and patient person I have ever known. She worked really hard to take care of us for all our lives.

Growing up with split parents was really difficult since each of my parents included me in the drama and that made me mature faster and think beyond my age. That has helped me in many stages of life that I have taken. I was able to finish high school, graduating from Maiduguri experimental School in 2011. I had always wanted to become a fashion designer because I found interest in sewing and making clothes when I was 10, it kept me from getting into trouble with all the drama going on at home most times”.
Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the university of Maiduguri Borno state Nigeria and she is currently undergoing studies to receive her MSc certificate in oil and gas engineering at the Siberian federal university Russia. Shas taken the run way here in Krasnoyarsk for Maxmara krsk, Marccain krsk and women insight Krasnoyarsk. She has also made it into the dorogoe style magazine and the cover of Costa Bella’s 196TH magazine. She has modeled for lots of companies, brands and more.
