MARRIAGE IS NOT FOR ME

Marriage
Marriage is not about one person is a Journey of Sacrifice and Partnership
Marriage is often seen as the union of two individuals in love, a celebration of a lifelong commitment, and a promise to stand by each other through thick and thin. While the notion of love and companionship is paramount in a successful marriage, one must not overlook the profound importance of sacrifice. Marriage is not for me; it is a partnership built on mutual sacrifices, even in the tiniest of things, that extends to eternity.

The Power of Sacrifice
Sacrifice is a word often misunderstood in the context of marriage. It doesn't mean losing oneself but rather giving up something for the greater good of the relationship. It's about putting the needs and happiness of your partner on par with your own, and sometimes even before your own. This willingness to make sacrifices is a cornerstone of a strong and enduring marriage.

Sacrificing Ego for Compromise
One of the most significant sacrifices in marriage is letting go of ego for the sake of compromise. It's recognizing that you're not always right and that your partner's opinions and desires are just as valid as your own. This compromise can manifest in various aspects of married life, from deciding where to spend the holidays to how to manage finances. When both partners are willing to make these sacrifices, it creates harmony and avoids unnecessary conflicts.

Sacrificing Time for Togetherness
In today's fast-paced world, time is a precious commodity. A successful marriage requires a willingness to sacrifice some of your personal time to nurture the relationship. Whether it's setting aside work for a spontaneous date night, putting down your phone to have meaningful conversations, or simply spending quality time together, these small sacrifices add up to a deeper connection and lasting love.

Sacrificing Independence for Interdependence
Marriage is about becoming a team, a unit, rather than two separate individuals living parallel lives. It involves sacrificing some of your individual independence to build a life of interdependence. This means making decisions together, relying on each other for support, and working towards common goals. It may require giving up the idea of "me" and embracing the concept of "we."

Sacrificing Comfort for Growth
Marriage is a journey of growth, both as individuals and as a couple. This often entails stepping out of your comfort zone and making sacrifices to accommodate personal and relational growth. It could mean pursuing new opportunities that take you out of your comfort zone, being open to change, and supporting your partner's ambitions and dreams even when they disrupt the status quo.

Sacrificing for the Future
Planning for the future is a shared responsibility in marriage. Sacrifices made today, whether in terms of financial investments, career choices, or lifestyle changes, are often aimed at securing a better future for both partners. These sacrifices reflect a commitment to building a life together, with an eye towards long-term happiness and security.

Marriage is not a one-sided affair. It's a partnership where both individuals make sacrifices, both big and small, to create a harmonious and enduring relationship. It's a continuous journey of compromise, empathy, and selflessness. The sacrifices made in marriage are not burdens but investments in a future filled with love, trust, and togetherness.
When both partners understand the importance of these sacrifices and are willing to make them, they create a bond that can withstand the tests of time. A successful marriage is not just about "me" or "you" but about "us," where both individuals work together in perfect harmony, sacrificing for each other, even in the tiniest of things, forever.

THE ENEMY WITHIN

Emotional intelligence  The world consists of different people from different places, with different personalities, traits and makeup. With only one main common ground which is the earth in which we habit on and due to these differences in diverse people,  co-habiting and condoning becomes difficult some times or rather most times in this world with other people. Differences creates lack of oneness, lack of understanding and anger becomes inevitable. People tend to flare up towards others.  https://pirevolution.blogspot.com/2019/05/the-enemy-within.html?m=1 Physical effects of anger Anger triggers the body’s ‘fight or flight’ response. MARRIAGE A BED OF ROSES OR A BED OF THORNS

MARRIAGE A BED OF ROSES OR A BED OF THORNS Marriage a bed of roses or a bed of thorns  Marriage is a beautiful thing, it is an institution built on love and affection first before any other virtue.  In life, you don't get to choose your parents, siblings, relatives and even children but marriage gives you that opportunity to choose someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, based on love. Since the foundation of marriage is love (which means that you have an affection for each other)it should be a bed of roses which requires serious preparation. Most prepare for the ceremony and channel their energy, time and finances to the occasion which when covered or well taken care, they believe they are prepared for marriage. I'm particular about the neglected preparation which makes marriage a bed of roses.  These are: * Emotional preparedness: Study emotional intelligence. * Mental preparedness: Have a positive and right mindset about marriage. * Physical prepa
