My name is Rose born 1990. I am the only child of my parent.
My father has been the only parent I have ever known, because  my mom passed away a day after I was delivered.
My dad; an amazing father, epitome of a good man to me, the only friend  i had, but an extremely protective man.
I have never gotten the chance to have at least, a social life, either with my peers, at the neighborhood or at anyplace, till I graduateed from college.
My father 
The story all began the first  day i started working. The first job i had. The managing director of the organization  where I started  working, was a very nice man. And because of the  commitment i had and my success at my working place, we became very close. I began to picture my dad in him.

The first time he asked me for a dinner, i was excited because of my lack of exposure, no negative thoughts ever crossed my mind.

The dinner date went successful, but the way he looked at me changed after the first date. because i see my dad in him I couldn't stop to say no to his requests.
Some of my colleagues in the office told me about his devious acts with naive young ladies but I didn't adhere  to their advice. I was enjoying every bit of the special attention from him, little did I know what he was planing.

On a Friday morning he called me over to his place to bring him a file to work on.
Rape

He served me a drink, of which i reluctantly drank not knowing it contained drug.
I regained consciousness in pain. I was raped. He threatened to tell everyone that i forced  myself on him and seduced him. Because of the influence he has, no one would believe me.
I began to see the devil that I didn't see in him all these time .
Stop violence against women 
I remembered my dad's warnings  about the managing director, the dates, the lies. My dad always told me that he was nice, and took me on those dates because  he is trying  to lure me to his paws, my dad didnt see God in him,and all i told dad is;
"dad why are you over protective?, i am an adult dad, infact you won't  understand just forget".  
My thoughts 
It was my dream place of work, so dad didn't stop me, all he did was to advice me and  I didn't listen. I was dying in silence, i resigned and layed a complain against him, he was tried and proven guilty.
After the whole incident my eyes where opened to  the realities of life, I became wise!!! .

Now am wiser, strong and even more
 careful.

Your dad is your dad and your man is your husband not your father.

Never compare your father and your dream man. He may have some of the qualities but he can't be your father.
