What differentiate a poor man and a rich man, is what the rich man knows and the poor man doesn't know.
Day by day, the world is changing in ways that we never could have imagined. Look at all of us here on Ste-emit, simply by posting things, commenting on others, up-voting posts and just simply being social with other users, you will likely get paid something. Some older more established Steersman could use the earnings earned here in lieu of full time employment elsewhere. Other folks are bringing forth cool ideas, attitudes and downright old school interactions in exchange for a piece of the rewards.
Think this is just a coincidence? Over the past 30 years, Steve Siebold has interviewed 1,200 of the richest people in the world. The one common thread, Siebold noticed, is that they bypassed tabloids and magazines for knowledge-enhancing books.
"Walk into a wealthy person's home," Sideboard wrote in his book, How Rich People Think, "and one of the first things you'll see is an extensive library of books they've used to educate themselves on how to become more successful."
I'd like to introduce you to four well-known billionaires -- and one you may have never heard of -- who credit their success to constantly reading.
knowledge is beyond power!
The currency of this world moving forward is not cash or coins, it is knowledge, real hardcore knowledge. With our minds and the right medium we as the whole of humanity will transform everything for the betterment of everyone.
Without increasing knowledge, you are limiting yourself to the successes you desire. If money is tight figure out a way to cut back on your expenses so you can afford to invest in yourself. If you absolutely hate reading subscribe to audible.com. Your first book is free when you sign up. If you can’t read 1 book per week then take things slow and try to read it in 2 weeks. Soon enough you will be able to grow that mental muscle and a book a week will be easy. Most importantly, apply the knowledge that you gain from reading and listening. It is one thing to read and listen; however, it is another to act and do the things that you are being taught. Be a doer not a talker.
An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.
The key to success |
I listen to Eric Thomas every single morning while preparing for my day. In “Greatness is Upon You” he states that “Knowledge is the new money, get you some.” Education doesn’t stop after high school or your degree. Many people think they can get by in life without increasing knowledge. You are now a professional so act like one. If you are a salesman, read books on selling. One of the best I have personally read is “How I raised myself from Failure to Success in Selling” by Frank Bettger.
Thank you!
